Brides, if you are looking for a wedding planner, Natasha Churches is your girl!! Natasha owns Perfectly Planned Weddings and is truly a magic maker! Last year she started The Styled Series, which is a place for photographers, event stylists, and designers to work together and create gorgeous portfolios! This year’s styled shoot was at The Ohio Statehouse!!
The venue was stunning! Historic, full of natural light, and oh so regal!! What a perfect place to host a styled wedding shoot!! All of the vendors were incredible!! They all took the time to talk with us about their businesses and answer any questions we had. But let’s talk details!!!
The tablescape was breathtaking. Prema Designs did the florals and they were amazing! Reds, blushes, creams, and greenery filled the room! The ceremony setup was filled with lush floral arrangements and antique candles!! Got Ya Covered did all of the rentals for the day and they were SO elegant!!
We had two bride and groom models. The dresses from La Jeune Mariee were gorgeous and the suits from Pursuit matched the styled theme. We first started photographing the invitation suite from Cheerup Press. Alaina hand-pressed paper which is so unique! If you are looking for wedding invitations, her work is a must!! We then photographed the wedding details, floral arrangements, and shoes!!
Our photography guest, Allison Leonard from Kismet Visuals walked us through her posing techniques for a wedding day! She was so genuine and honest about everything she has learned and tips to make our couples look as natural as possible! Our two couples were so sweet and a pleasure to work with. Having a bunch of photographers acting like the paparazzi is no easy task! They handled it with such grace! We photographed our models by the tablescape, ceremony place, and rotunda!
The rotunda was gorgeous!! An old fashion elevator was in the center surrounded by wide open staircases. The natural light in this space was to die for and you seriously couldn’t beat the architecture! This venue was so majestic!!
We finished the day photographing an incredible cake from Jan Kish. Her work was so intricate and a work of art!! If you haven’t checked out her cakes, you absolutely must! What a fun sweet way to end the day!
