Winter engagement session in German Village
When Delisa reached out to me about her engagement session she had an entire Pinterest inspiration board! I was SO excited because I LOVE Pinterest!!! It’s such a great place to find cute ideas! Delisa had envisioned a cozy winter theme for her photos! The problem we were having is snow!!
This winter, it has been very cold but we haven’t had much snow. And the snow we did get, melted very quickly!! We watched the forecast carefully and planned our session when a winter storm was supposed to hit… and it did! We actually had to reschedule for the next morning because the roads were SO bad to travel anywhere. It couldn’t have worked out better because the next day was perfect. We still had a few inches of snow and the sun decided to come out!
I met Delisa and Reggie at Staufs Coffee Shop in German Village. We chatted about their engagement and wedding plans!! I LOVE hearing proposal stories! They make me so happy!! After hearing all of the details we grabbed some coffee and took some adorable coffee shop photos! These two were so adorable to photograph and so in love!!
After warming up we headed down the road to Schiller Park. Delisa brought a bunch of props to make a snowy picnic! It was SO adorable and totally Pinterest! We had so much fun playing in the snow and capturing some winter love! Congratulations to Delisa and Reggie on your engagement! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your day!
