I attended Phellowship, a community-building styled shoot hosted by Kelsie Lynn Photography and Monica Brown Photography and it was absolutely incredible! Kelsie and Monica started something amazing for creatives, a place to build community, support one another, and capture pretty photos together. It was so much more than a styled shoot but an uplifting, empowering, and inspiring day.
After the Colorful Styled Shoot, we all had a delicious taco lunch and listened to our guest speaker Kari, who is the leader of the Columbus Tuesday Together group as well as the owner of Kari Me Photography!! Kari told us her story about starting her business and her legacy to build a community for creatives. She is incredible! She not only is an amazing photographer but she has inspired so many photographers to help support each other in our businesses. It is something that is much needed in this creative industry!!
We then went into our second styled shoot, the Fine Arts shoot. It was SO beautiful and a completely different theme from the first Colorful shoot. The colors were light blue and neutrals. The details and invitation suites were everywhere! The theme was so romantic and vintage. From the florals to the tablescape, everything was thought out perfectly. Our bride and groom was SO much fun to work with and so in love!
When we were finished photographing the Fine Arts magic, we went in to listen to our second guest speaker Kaitlin from Elysian Market. Kaitlin spoke to us about community over competition and the empowerment of pouring into each other to make everyone the best they can be. It was the perfect way to end an AMAZING day! Thank you so much to Kelsie and Monica for creating a supportive community to build friendships and celebrate our industry!
