A community-based styled shoot workshop
I attended the Phellowship and Photos, a community-building styled shoot hosted by Kelsie Lynn Photography and Monica Brown Photography and it was absolutely amazing! Kelsie and Monica started something amazing for creatives, a place to build community, support one another, and capture pretty photos together. It was so much more than a styled shoot but an uplifting, empowering, and inspiring day.
We first started our day over breakfast and meeting everyone that attended! I had so much fun building connections and meeting new friends! We then had a calligraphy course by Loveleigh Loops which was so fun, but a LOT harder than it looks. These two girls put together an amazing booklet to walk us through the basics of calligraphy. I have a whole new appreciation for this writing art.
After our calligraphy lesson, we took headshots of one another! I LOVE taking other creatives headshots. It’s such a fun time to be creative and practice posing! And then… the magic… we went into our first styled shoot, The Colorful Shoot.
The Colorful Shoot was a brunch theme that of course had a gorgeous vibrant color scheme. From the details to the bride and groom, everything was thought out perfectly. And who doesn’t love brunch!!
