Winter Wedding at the Simon Kenton Inn
Springfield, Ohio
You guys, want to know a secret? This wedding was SO special to me because it was my last winter wedding of 2017. And what an incredible wedding it was!! Lindsey and Kyle are 100% meant to be! So much in fact, that as soon as Lindsey got engaged she planned her wedding for 3 months later!! Lindsey reached out to me 3 weeks before her wedding day and I was SO excited to be apart of her special day.
In the morning I met the girls at The Wildflower Salon in Springfield, Ohio! Lindsey was SO excited to be getting married and of course, dressing up for the day! Lindsey is seriously the sweetest bride you’d ever meet! She was SO calm and relaxed, making sure everyone was happy and had what they needed.
Hair and Makeup was so much fun! Lindsey’s future sister-in-law owns the salon and was so excited to do everyone’s hair!! It made the day that much more special that family was apart of every moment. With mimosas in hand (seriously my all-time favorite drink!) the girls got their hair and makeup done! Lindsey’s finishing touches to her hair was a beautiful floral crown that made her look like a princess! Lindsey’s mom helped her into her wedding gown! Lindsey wore a stunning ballgown with lace detailing and buttons up the back. It was absolutely stunning!
Lindsey and Kyle had their first look in the salon. Everyone headed to the ceremony venue and these two were left alone, in the perfect space to have their first look. First Kyle and Lindsey prayed together just holding hands. It was so intimate and perfect, what being married is all about, God. Then Kyle turned the corner and saw his bride for the first time! I LOVE moments like these to capture on wedding days. It’s the excitement, the love, and the unity that makes me feel as if I’m watching a romance movie. These two exchanged gifts, and guess what? They both got each other engraved watches! Meant to be right?
These two were married at The Simon Kenton Inn in Springfield, Ohio. It was a cold, but beautiful December day and perfect for the holiday season. I LOVE this venue. The inside was stunning, decorated with Christmas lights, gorgeous furniture, and of course Christmas trees! It was such an elegant holiday wedding!! The ceremony was beautiful and so intimate shared with close family and friends.
After the ceremony, we all braved the cold, for some GORGEOUS wintery photos! Oh, but they were so worth it!! You couldn’t even tell that they were cold because their love just warmed us all up! The reception was perfect. From the toasts (which made me cry) to the dancing everything was surrounded by love and celebration. To end a perfect night, these two had a glow stick send off which was so much fun!! I was so honored to be apart of their day. Congratulations to Lindsey and Kyle on your marriage!
