Photographers, if you are still searching for that perfect ring box for wedding day details, I have what you are looking for. My all-time favorite ring boxes are The Mrs Box (themrsbox.com)! These custom dyed velvet boxes are not only well made but they are SO pretty! They come in 34 unique colors that will complement any color palette.
The one thing that separates a Mrs Box from other ring boxes is that they are tightly stitched. This is so important because the material doesn’t loosen, especially in the ring slot. It makes for perfect photos every time and the rings are secure! There’s nothing worse than having the ring not fit correctly because the stitching is loosened. It makes it seem like there is a big gap and takes your focus off of the ring! The velvet material is high quality and truly worth the cost. They just look elegant both in person and in camera. I have tried some other boxes off of Etsy and I just wasn’t impressed with the quality. The material started to loosen over time and they didn’t have that velvety sheen to them. Yes, other competitors are less expensive but it’s not worth the headache of constantly having to purchase new ring boxes!
As far as size, the Mrs Boxes come in two sizes, classic and large. I personally love the classic boxes. They photograph really well and in proportion to other wedding day lay flat details. The classic size also makes the rings look bigger, which is always a plus in-camera! Mrs Box also offers a double ring slot in their boxes, if you wanted to photograph both the engagement ring and the wedding band!
As far as colors, I have the Eastleigh, Scarlett, Rushmore, Havenhart, Monarch, Beaux, Ellington, Gwynevere, Paloma, Westerly, and Margaery. I seriously love them all!! Mrs Box offers custom foiled monogramming which is such a sweet touch! You can monogram your initials, choose from scripted fonts, and select the color of the foil.
