A Review on The Tenba Roadie Air Case Roller 21

My Libby Camera bag 2.0 has been my “go-to” camera bag for a while now. However, as my photography business started to grow, so did my gear. I was starting to get bad neck and back pain (primarily on my right side where I was carrying my bag) after wedding days and I knew that something had to change. I went straight to our local photography store and sat there unzipping all of the roller cases they had (I think they thought I was crazy). BUT, it helped me find my dream roller case, the Tenba Roadie Air Case 21. And I am obsessed with this bag. I have used it and abused it now for a full wedding season and it has held up better than I could have dreamed.

The reason why I picked this particular bag because it has a hardcover. I don’t know why, but for some reason this made me feel better to have a hard shell completely surrounding my gear. It can safely be shipped or checked as luggage, and it’s virtually uncrushable, as it will withstand more than 400 pounds stacked on top. Whether I am traveling or shooting a wedding, I feel safe that my gear is safe.

Speaking of gear, it holds SO much! I have my 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 24-70mm, and 105mm lenses, two Nikon D750 bodies, 4 flashes, 4 SD card cases, and extra batteries all tucked in nicely into this bag. It holds a lot and can be customizable for what you are trying to fit in it! It has a removable lens module which fits right into my Kelly Moore bag if I am doing a quick portrait session.

Another feature I love is the shock-absorbing wheels. I know…something to get SO excited about but, I’m serious, shock-absorbing wheels are such a great feature for a wedding day. I wheel my case everywhere. Up and downstairs and through gravel roads and fields. This bag not only holds up perfectly for the job but my gear is once again safe and protected.

It is pretty water-resistant as well and comes with a neat rain cover which I have used a lot this wedding season (especially when leaving for the night in a rainstorm).

Overall, I love this bag, it is the best investment I have made for my business besides my lenses. I highly recommend!
