Olivia is 4 months old! She is such a happy baby and laughs all the time. Her giggle is so contagious and just makes my heart burst!
She learned how to roll over last month and it is now her new favorite thing to do. Livy loves to play on her stomach and has learned how to caterpillar scootch to move forward a little bit (I think she’ll be an early crawler for sure). She also has learned how to sleep on her stomach as well. There’s absolutely no correcting this girl to sleep on her back because she just rolls right back onto her stomach!
Livy girl reaches for her toys, loves staring at colorful objects, and playing with her hands and toes! She sucks her thumb and is now chewing on her hands every chance she gets.
She LOVES her bathtime and now likes to float in the tub. Bathtime is one of her favorite times of the day. She kicks, splashes and just giggles the entire time. I’m so excited for summer to take her swimming!
Our sweet babe loves music. I sing to her and she just smiles and tries to copy my sounds. So far she will mimic my “Oh” sound. She’ll do it consecutively and it is so cool! You can just see her brain ticking away thinking how to make sounds like her Mama!
Books are one of Livy’s favorite things. I can’t believe for 4 months of age, her attention span is so long! We can get through 2 or 3 books and she just stares at the pages. It’s the coolest thing!
Recently, she also started paying attention to when I eat food. If she’s on my lap she looks up as I take a bite! She’s breastfed and I am hoping to introduce solids around 6 months of age. It’s so exciting to see her starting to be interested in food!
Every day truly keeps getting better and better. I’m soaking up every minute being this little girl’s Mama!
Olivia loves to suck her thumb, play with her hands and toes, read colorful books, roll over and sleep on her belly, go for walks, swing on her new swing, and laugh!
She dislikes when she can’t roll over, being tired, bright sunlight, and when the car stops.
