June Wedding At Mefford Farms
Lucasville, Ohio
We found the prettiest location for the wedding dress shot. We drove over to an antique hay wagon, hung the dress, and started snapping away. Mefford Farms is located in a valley out in Lucasville, Ohio. Just as we were capturing the dress details, the owner of the venue drove up on her golf cart and said the rain is over the hill. Amanda and I looked at each other and thought, okay, we have about 10 minutes or so. But because we were in a valley this was not the case.
I heard the rain and looked behind me. As if a tsunami, the rain was literally coming at us in a wave. I grabbed the dress and ran to the car. Just as we got inside, it absolutely poured. I have never experienced anything like that before! Where a wave of rain hit! But the most important thing was that the dress was safe and dry!!
It only rained for 20 minutes or so and the rest of Jenny and Wyatt’s wedding day was absolute perfection! These two lovebirds met in Kindergarten! How sweet right?! They had been together ever since and are that couple that is simply meant to be! I can’t imagine finding your soulmate in Kindergarten! That is truly amazing! It makes for such a romantic story!
Jenny and Wyatt got married in the valley of the farm with a stunning mountainous landscape all around them. It was truly something out of a movie. The ceremony was so intimate surrounded by close family and friends. My favorite part about the ceremony was their bubble machine exit! The bubble machine was such an awesome idea and such a fun way to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs.
The rest of the evening was spent celebrating this joyful couple! From dancing to an epic cake cutting smash, it was so fun!
Sunset photos were magical. The sunset through the mountain trees and streamed golden light into the valley. We did sunset photos by a pond that just soaked up all that golden glow! It was a perfect way to end an amazing day! Congratulations to Jenny and Wyatt on your marriage. Wishing you all the love and happiness!
