Katie is a dear childhood friend of mine. We met through horseback riding growing up. When she asked me to be her wedding photography I was so excited! I loved getting to meet Marcus during their engagement session with Katie’s horse Kai. It was so much fun and filled with lots of laughter and of course, horses!
Katie was an absolute vision wearing a classic romantic gown and veil made from her mother’s wedding dress. It was such a sweet touch to carry a piece of her parent’s love legacy down the aisle.
Marcus and Katie were married on a gorgeous fall day in the rolling hills of Upstate New York. Their venue, Wolf Oak Acres, is a hidden gem in the countryside. The fall leaves were at their peak and it truly looked like a landscape painting. These two tied the knot in front of close family and friends by the venue’s pristine pond. A light fall breeze, sunny day, colorful leaves, and the sound of bagpipes filled the air as these two got married. It was so pretty!
The rest of the evening was spent celebrating the newlywed couple with a wonderful dinner, their first dance as husband and wife, and delicious cake. It was so special going back to my hometown to capture their wedding and something I will never forget. Congratulations to Katie and Marcus on your marriage. Wishing you all the love and happiness! Love you both!
