When I first met Emily and Brian, it was meant to be, they have an Australian Shepherd dog too! Any dog owner, let alone, a herding dog owner is a friend of mine. We met at a little coffee shop to discuss wedding day details. After talking about our pups for a while we decided it might be time to talk about their wedding day! Emily and Brian are the most laid back, the sweetest couple you’ll meet. They were so excited about their wedding day and all the last minute details to plan the big day! I couldn’t wait to be apart of this couples love story!
Emily and Brian had their engagement session a the Franklin Park Conservatory this past Spring. I had so much fun photographing this couple and spending time with them before the big day. Emily and Brian always had a smile on their face and it’s one of those couples that you know they’re so deeply in love. My favorite part of their engagement session was, of course, their puppy they brought along, but also their secret handshake!
The wedding day was so magical. Emily and Brian got married at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio. Emily’s wedding day details were so much fun to capture. From her shoes to earrings, they were so classy and sparkly! Emily did not want a first look, but rather a brother’s first look! Being the youngest sibling, as well as the only daughter, she wanted to share this special moment with the men in her life. Emily’s brothers were so tall! But the first look was so precious, something I’ll never forget.
Oh, ladies, the ceremony was amazing! An intimate gathering of family and friends truly lifted up and supported Emily and Brian in their future marriage. From the vows to communion, everything was just perfect. My favorite part of the ceremony was when everyone in the room, held hands and prayed over this newlywed couple. It was such an intimate moment of loving on this couple. After the ceremony and a bubble send off we headed over to the venue!
The Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center is absolutely gorgeous. You feel like you stepped back in time to an estate of Marie Antoinette. The ceremony was so much fun! The couple had so many fun events planned! From a delicious dinner to homemade cookies, cake, dancing and a late-night ice cream truck! One secret to Emily’s dress was that it detached and turned into the cutest cocktail length dress!! This way she could still enjoy her reception without the weight of a wedding dress! What a fun wedding with an amazing couple! Congratulations to Emily and Brian on your marriage! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your special day! <3
