Summer Wedding at The Makoy Center
Hilliard, Ohio
Devan and Zach were married at Saint Brendan Catholic Church in Hilliard, Ohio. Devan wore a stunning ballgown from David’s Bridal accented with gorgeous beaded detail. I loved being apart of Devan’s getting ready photos! She did the first look with her bridesmaids that was so joyful! I LOVE doing first looks with bridesmaids. To have all of your best friends and siblings there to see you on your wedding day is something that you shall never forget! Also, their reactions were priceless! All the girls were just in awe of their best friend in her gown and that very soon she was about to walk down the aisle! Next, was the first look with her father which made me cry! Being apart of such a sweet father-daughter moment was something I will never forget.
Devan and Zach’s ceremony was just beautiful. They made their vows surrounded by their family, friends, and loved ones. My favorite part of their celebration, was just after the couple was announced as Mr. and Mrs. Instead of walking back down the aisle, they went over to their parents and hugged them all! It was a tradition I have never seen before and something so beautiful. What a lovely way to honor your parents. They thanked their parents for raising them up to this point in their lives as they were now starting a family of their own. How amazing right?!?
The reception was at The Makoy Center in Hilliard, Ohio. The reception hall had gorgeous decorations! The room had accents of white, light blue, and silver around a rustic-chic ballroom. The coolest thing in their reception was this fantastic ice sculpture! I think ice sculptures are so cool (no pun intended, LOL)! The rest of the evening was full of celebrating the newlywed couple and dancing! Congratulations to Devan and Zach on your marriage! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your special day! <3
