“I love you forever” Kendall’s dad whispered into her ear as he hugged her goodbye before she and Burrus got into their getaway car at the stunning Belle Meade Country Club. Surrounded by family and friends waving goodbye to the newlywed couple, they drove off into the night. It was a perfect end to an incredible love encompassed day.
Kendall and Burrus are the most easy-going, sweetest couple you’ll meet. These high school sweethearts are just meant to be, and their wedding day was even better than we could’ve dreamed.
The bride and groom’s portraits were magical. The trees were beginning to blossom and it was the perfect background for a spring wedding! Kendall wore a stunning Modern Trousseau gown that reminded me of a dress from a royal wedding. It was timeless elegance in it’s finest with a pop of couture from the floral print in the fabric. She wore her mother’s veil which was a perfect love legacy heirloom.
One of my favorite details was a pearl bracelet that Kendall’s parents presented her with on her wedding day. Growing up, for her birthday, her parents would add a pearl to a necklace. They called this tradition, “add a pearl.” For her wedding, they converted the necklace into a bracelet. It was such a sweet idea and a perfect touch!
Kendall and Burrus were married at Christ the King Catholic Church surrounded by their close family and friends. It was such a beautiful ceremony! The florals were a stunning mix of hydrangeas and roses. Their florist, English Garden by Terry, was also the florist who did Kendall’s parent’s wedding! It was his first generational wedding and it was so special!
After these two tied the knot, they took a trolley ride over to the Belle Meade Country Club for the reception. Kendall and Burrus shared a private dinner together before greeting their guests for the cake cutting. A buttercream covered five-tier cake covered in garden roses cascading down the side was a sight to see! After the cake cutting, the dancing began! With a live band playing, they celebrated and danced the night away! It was a perfect day for a beautiful couple! Congratulations to Kendall and Burrus on your marriage! Wishing you all the love and happiness!
