Photographers, this one is for you! With the holidays quickly approaching I thought I’d write down some of my favorite things I can never say no to as gifts! From stocking stuffers to bigger ticket items, these are things I’m always using for my business. I hope you find these helpful and if you have any other gift ideas I’d love to hear about them HERE. Anywhoo, here are some of my favorite things to receive around the holiday season!
As a photographer, every year (sometimes twice a year) we need to get our gear professionally cleaned! Gifting a cleaning service is SO helpful and a photographer necessity.
You can never have too many camera lens cloths! These not only will make your photographer so happy but they are also a great stockings stuffer for the holiday season.
Having a good camera bag or roller case is SO important as a professional photographer. We carry heavy gear around for hours at a time. Check out some new bags such as Kelly Moore, Kamrette, or Tenba!
If your photographer uses a camera strap consider gifting them a new camera strap for the holidays!
Editing is something every photographer will spend hours doing. Gifting a years subscription to Adobe Cloud will make your photographer super happy, I promise!
Just like with lens cloths, you can never have too many SD cards! These also make for great stocking stuffers!
As a wedding photographer, the first thing I do when I come home from a wedding is take a bubble bath using Skin Foodie’s Muscle Salts and then use Skin Foodie’s Herbal Therapy. This lotion is AMAZING at soothing sore muscles. Any bath bomb or muscle lotion is much needed and 100% appreciated!
Finding good shoes seems to be the never-ending battle for a photographer. Investing in a good shoe like Tieks or Rothy’s is absolutely needed for a new wedding season!
This one sounds strange, but photographers can never have too many clear bubble umbrellas. They are a lifesaver on rainy wedding days for bridal party and bride and groom portraits.
Lastly, your photographer will spend countless hours photographing others. Gifting your photographer a family session of their own will mean more than anything! After all, as photographers, we always are looking for more pictures to post!
